1 Mounted Figure

On July 16th, 1212 in present day Spain, the combined forces, yet still heavily outnumbered, of the kingdoms of Castile, Navarra, Aragon, the military orders of Santiago, Templars, Calatrava, volunteer knights from Leon and Portugal, as well as some foreign crusaders from north of the Pyrenees confronted the powerful invading forces of the Almohad empire in one of the most decisive battles in the history of Europe.
